You can do the military diet weekly, although it is best to do the military diet biweekly. However, you must make sure that you stick to less than 1600 calories a day. The military diet allows you to have between 1000 and 1200 calories a day. It is one of the reasons why it is so successful. That means that even on the 4 OFF days (3 ON days where you do the diet and 4 OFF days when you eat regularly) you need to eat less than what you used to. You also have to integrate healthy dietary regimens into your meals. You should eat more high protein foods and less high carbohydrate foods.

Committing To Military Diet For A Month

Being committed is one of the things that will determine whether a military diet for a month will be a bust or not. It may be a lot tougher than you can imagine. Most of us, eat over 2500 calories a day. When you cut down all the way to under 1500 calories a day, you will feel it in your tummy. The hunger can be tough to bear for some. If you’re one of those people, you can modify the military diet as you diet alongside it. You can fill your menu with food that is more voluminous but has very few calories such as green leafy vegetables such as lettuces (200 grams of lettuce contain just 28 calories). This way you’re eating more, but gaining less as you take on the military diet for a month and beyond.

Also, you need to make sure your Total Daily Energy Expenditure is more or equal to your Daily Calories Intake. That way you’re not loading up on calories on your OFF days.
